“This Shivaratri is very important because this marks the threshold of the Golden Age time period. So, I want to do something very different. I will lead you to a practice of meditation, which is an astral trip to the world of Shiva, or the heaven of Shiva, called Kailash.
Reach the Plane of Bliss through Meditation
“Kailash is a plane of bliss. Once you get there, people get to stay there forever. According to tradition, it's a place in the Himalayas. It’s very difficult to reach that peak.
I will lead you through a meditation that corresponds to a Shaivite saint named Sundara, who lived in the eighth century. He came from Kailash and lived here for 20 or 25 years. He did not like it here and wanted to go back. He describes how it became possible for him to get to Kailash—you need to be invited.
This story is very helpful for astral travel to Kailash… I have taught different mantras for Shiva, but this is the first time I am doing this. So, I want to invite you to join me in our meditation to go to Kailash.

Dr. Pillai teaches that rituals are more powerful than meditation. As part of his own vigil, he is inspired to perform a fire lab and a Shiva Abishekam (hydration ritual) on behalf of participants to invoke Lord Shiva’s blessings during this peak powertime for enlightenment and transformation.

Poojas are sacred offerings of sound, light, and other materials performed to invoke the blessings of a Divine being. A pooja to Lord Shiva is said to attract his divine presence and support for karma removal, enlightenment, higher consciousness/wisdom, and destiny transformation.
Hydration rituals involve pouring milk, juice, water, or other forms of liquid over a physical representation of an archetype (lingam or statue) to appease them and call upon their energetic presence.
Performing these ceremonies on Shivaratri is believed to be especially powerful, as Lord Shiva’s descent to the Earth plane on this night allows us to access his divine intervention in abundance. Expert Pillai Center Teacher Sucharita will conduct these ceremonies on your behalf so the benefits can reach you by proxy.
