According to sacred scriptures, the Great Night of Shiva, also known as Maha Shivaratri, is a time when Lord Shiva is said to make the gift of a new destiny available to all the beings in the universe.

Power of Overnight Vigil
It is considered to be possible to gain the power of millions of years of meditation if one can hold a focused vigil during the Great Night of Shiva, which goes all the way into the morning of the next day. If you have tried and failed to stay awake in the past, there is a better alternative. Performing the vigil with a group is more productive, engaging, and simply more enjoyable, especially when you are guided on what to do every step of the way. Dr. Pillai echoes modern science and the understanding of mystics across many spiritual traditions when he teaches that praying and meditating in a group is significantly more powerful than by yourself.
Dr. Pillai has shared that he will be holding a personal vigil during the upcoming Great Night of Shiva, and he is encouraging his students to do the same. We have created an empowered vigil program that has been formulated to engage you for the entire powertime, for your highest good. Dr. Pillai teaches that rituals are more powerful than meditation, and among rituals, the fire ceremony is the greatest of all. As part of his own vigil, he has been inspired to perform rituals on behalf of those who participate and the world at large. These ceremonies will be performed at midnight which is considered to be the peak window of time within the greatest destiny-changing powertime of the year. His live one-hour session will include:

Group Fire Lab

This year, our program will include a live Fire Lab performed by Swamini Valli. Our Fire Lab to honor Shiva will include 1008 Namashivayas with offerings put into the fire. These are the sounds of the 5 elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space). With these sounds, we become harmonized with the elements so that we are in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing in the right way, with the right attitude. The Fire Lab will come into the program after the live session with Dr. Pillai.
The Great Night of Shiva Program Access
